Who we are.
Hounds on Working Leashes (H.O.W.L.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises funds for the purpose of SAVING THE LIVES of emergency service dogs!! We provide ballistic vests for departments that need them. We want to keep all K-9’s SAFE and a better and more efficient asset to their partner and community!
Keeping K-9 SAFE
All K-9 police dogs must have a vest; they are moving targets with no protection at all. Recently 2 police dogs were killed in the line of duty…they did not have on a vest.
